The route is being introduced with a promotional fare starting at Bt1, 990 per journey for bookings until 06 25, for travel from August 11, 2017, to August 28, 2018.
Santisuk Klongchaiya, director of economic for Thai AirAsia, stated that the Bangkok-Maldives daily direct trip will take to the sky on August 10 with a promotional fare.
“Many peoples’ perception of the Maldives is that it is costly and only caters to certain types of travelers, but today AirAsia is launching it so ‘Everyone Can Fly’ to the country to learn it offers a large variety of accommodation from guesthouses to opulent hotels.
Without the need for a visa (for Thailänder people), travelling to the Maldives is now incredibly easy and we are confident the road will see robust progress, especially as AirAsia is the initial low-fare carrier to offer Bangkok-Maldives link. “””
AirAsia flies from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to the Maldives. Digging in Bangkok as a gateway to the islands underlines nice of the destination.
